About Potion Botanicals

Some things start early.

For me, it was a childhood spent inside a blooming forsythia hedge, hanging from maple branches, and sneaking wild onions from the yard into my mother’s kitchen — she was not impressed. But the land was always home. Always where I made sense of things.

Modern life has a way of pulling us away from that. In 2020, I started finding my way back — through foraging in the woods, through herbalism studies, through Reiki attunement and hospice volunteer work. Each path pointed toward the same truth: that healing is relational. Between people. Between people and plants. Between us and the land we live on.

Potion Botanicals is the expression of that belief.

My partner Eugene has been beside me through all of it. A landscape architect and true steward of the land, he and I have known each other for over twenty years — and when our relationship deepened, we found a shared language in nature. Together we forage, we tend, we create. The salves, the tinctures, the flower essences — they’re handmade, with intention, from plants we know and trust.

Auntie Ashley & Uncle Eugene’s Plantago Salve is our first offering. Because that’s what we want to be — the neighbors you trust, the people who made something real for you.

Welcome to Potion Botanicals.
